The One with the Sephora Favourites Beauty Sleep Set

When I saw this Sephora Favourites set on the website, I scooped it up immediately. It is such a steal at $39 for 8 high end products. It is called the Beauty Sleep set and it contains products for your nightly beauty routine for skin and hair!

Sephora Favorites Beauty Sleep Set

This is only in stock on the US version of Sephora so if you haven’t picked it up yet and you live in the US, now is the time to do it! Before the sale ends!!

Unlike most of the Sephora Favourites skin care sets, this is just an itty bitty box and the products are just laid inside nicely, instead of having a plastic insert.

Time to break down the values of this set and find out if it’s worth it.

*All prices are in CAD!

  • Cost: $39
  • Value: $115
  • Includes: 8 products

Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum + Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil

Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum

As soon as I saw this product inside this set, I was sold. It’s a product I’ve been dying to try for a long time now! All the love I see for this serum has me very excited about it!

It is an AHA/BHA night serum. It has a 12% AHA blend (Glycolic, Tartaric, Lactic, and Citric Acids). These acids work together to resurface dull, congested skin and reveal more radiant and smoother skin. It also has 1% Salicylic Acid (BHA) which unclogs pores while soothing redness.

Retail Value: $29.87 for 8 ml (full size is $112 for 30 ml)

Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil

I’m so happy to have a backup of this oil! I have another mini on the go right now and let me tell you, I am loooooving it! It’s so great because I feel like it’s really targeting my fine lines and making them less noticeable. But it also kind of sucks because it’s super expensive and I don’t know if I can bring myself to spend that much money!!

This oil combines Retinol and Blue Tansy to target wrinkles, redness and pores! From what I’ve seen on my own skin, these claims are true. Not only did I find my fine lines way less visible in the morning (and throughout the day), I found my skin tone to look more even, less red and more radiant.

Retail Value: $22.50 for 5 ml (full size is $135 for 30 ml)

GlamGlow DreamDuo Overnight Transforming Treatment

GlamGlow DreamDuo Overnight Transforming Treatment

This little duo actually comes in the same pot, albeit divided, when you buy the full size but as samples, they come in two separate tubes. The white tube is the DreamSerum (step one) and the grey tube is the DreamSeal (step two).

DreamSerum “infuses antiaging antioxidants into the skin, while supercharged essential vitamins support an even, flawless complexion” while the DreamSeal “is a nourishing moisture boost of hyaluronic acid and mozuku green algae that plumps and recharges skin’s glow.”

It sounds absolutely wonderful and I can’t wait to give these a go!

Retail Value: $17.25 for 10 ml (5 ml per tube) (full size is $69 for 40 ml)

Kate Somerville + Retinol Firming Eye Cream + Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Transformation Gel

Kate Somerville + Retinol Firming Eye Cream

This was another big sell for me with this set. I’ve been wanting a Retinol eye cream but as you may have guessed, they are so pricey. It’s hard to drop a lot of money at one time on one product. So this little sample will give me an idea if I think the full size is worth it or not.

The Retinol reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while supporting skin elasticity and firmness. It also contains Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate and smooth the skin, which is great because Retinol is known to be drying.

Retail Value: $20.40 for 3 ml (full size is $102 for 15 ml)

Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Transformation Gel

This is another one of those products that has been on my wishlist to try but is a little too pricey for me to run out and buy the full size without at least trying it first (but is actually one of the cheaper items from this set).

It is “an anti-aging serum with potent AHAs to smooth skin texture, even tone, and reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles while you sleep.” The AHAs in this serum are glycolic and lactic acids and it also contains microalgae to soften and condition the skin!

Retail Value: $8.12 for 7 ml (full size is $58 for 50 ml)

Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins Mineral-Enriched Renewal Cream + Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Night Cap Overnight Perfector

Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins Mineral-Enriched Renewal Cream

I have used this night cream in the past and I have mixed thoughts on it. I absolutely loved it as far as waking up with beautiful bright, plump skin that felt super hydrated. But I’m pretty sure I figured out that it was breaking me out. It’s quite a rich cream and unfortunately, my skin doesn’t like richer consistencies.

However, if you are not acne-prone, I would recommend this! Not only for the reasons stated above but it also has a lovely relaxing scent which I really enjoyed using before bedtime. It also contains Vitamins C, E, and H! I’ll save this tube for a giveaway!

Retail Value: $17.40 for 15 ml (full size is $58 for 50 ml)

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Night Cap Overnight Perfector

This is such an interesting product! I wouldn’t have thought to try it if it weren’t for this box. What intrigues me most about it is they claim that the results from it lasts through five shampoos!

It seems pretty simple to use. Before bed, you simply evenly distribute it to your hair, wet or dry, and comb it through. It doesn’t specify if you should use a night cap or not. But it does say to style or wash out in the morning.

It’s supposed to leave your hair vibrant, shiny and manageable!

Retail Value: $9.40 for 30 ml (full size is $37 for 118 ml)

Total Retail Value: $124.94

Final Thoughts? I calculated about $10 more than Sephora’s $115 estimation. Our estimates are very close and it’s always nice to see you are getting more dollars worth than you thought!

This set contained a lot of products I wanted to try and these are the types of products that are really up my alley (anti-aging, AHAs, serums, etc.) so for me, this set was undoubtedly worth it.

Free Samples

The free samples I received included with this order were the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation, Philosophy Amazing Grace Eau de Toilette, and Josie Maran Pure Argan Milk Intensive Hydrating Treatment.

I also used a code to receive this free 2.04 g tube of Wander Beauty Wanderout Lipstick in the shade “Barely There.” This shade is only sold as a dual lipstick so this actually works out to be the full size of this colour, and is worth $21! I’m loving this colour, too. Even though it’s described as a “mauve nude,” it’s anything but a nude. On my lips, it’s more of a berry tinted mauve.

Conclusion

I’m glad I finally got this unboxing done! It’s been on my to-do list for a long time! Sorry I have not been as active lately (here and on Instagram) but I am going through some personal things and updates have kind of been the last things on my mind at the moment. Hope you all understand!

Let me know what you think of this set and if you’ve tried any of these products!

    1. Haha I suppose I don’t really NEED it either lol. I’m overflowing in moisturizer but I do go through serum minis and the like pretty quick so that’s how I justify buying more. XD

    1. Yeah I didn’t even know until I looked it up! And I love that it’s a shade that is wearable for me. I remember at the time, it was the only code available that I hadn’t used yet so that’s the only reason I got it. But turns out, I love it!

  1. I feel like you have a thing for these favorites boxes from Sephora hahah 😀 Honestly I don’t blame you, if I could such deals in Denmark I would probably buy them as well. The origins product a long with drunk elephant and glamglow are all some I would love to try.
