I promised you that there would be more Sephora Favourites unboxings! The funny thing is, this isn’t even the end of these posts. XD I still have 2 more to post about! This particular one is called Skin Wonderland and is filled with “little luxuries for glowing skin from head to toe.”
Unfortunately, this set is currently out of stock. If you’re interested in it, I truly hope it comes back for you. ❤
This set was a little pricier than some of the other skincare sets that Sephora released but as I go over each product, you’ll start to see why. We have some pretty expensive stuff in here and the sizes for some of them are pretty impressive.
Let’s break down the cost of each item and see if this set was worth what I paid! All prices are in CAD!
- Cost: $69
- Value: $205
- Contains: 11 products, including 2 full size

Foreo Luna Play in “Petal Pink”
This is a waterproof sonic cleansing device! The Luna Play differs from the other Luna devices because it is smaller and is not rechargeable. It is supposed to be good for 100 uses. I wonder if anyone has actually kept count to see how accurate that is! I will try! XD
I already own a Clarisonic Mia 2 but I am curious to see how this differs in performance and if I develop a preference between the two! The Luna is made with non-abrasive silicone that deeply and gently cleanses and reveals softer skin. It is supposed to enhance the absorption of your following skincare, as well.
The different touch points are designed for different types of skin. The thicker ones are for oily skin whereas the thinner ones are designed for more sensitive or dry skin so you can customize your application.
Retail Value: $49 (full size)
Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter in “Vanilla Apricot”
Since I have about 4 other body butters on the go, I have left this sealed so I have no idea how it smells. Although I imagine it to smell delicious! This body butter is made with Argan oil, Shea butter, avocado oil and white tea extract. Lots of hydrating ingredients and antioxidants as well! It is a whipped and lightweight texture that absorbs instantly into the skin.
They sell this mini size on the Sephora website but you can purchase a larger size too.
Retail Value: $15 for 2 oz (full size is $43 for 8 oz)
Sunday Riley C.E.O. C + E Protect + Repair Moisturizer
One reason I love these sets is so I can get these minis of expensive skincare to try. The reason this moisturizer is so pricey is because it contains 5% “lipid-soluble, advanced vitamin C (tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, the most superior form), which is more stable and less irritating than ascorbic acid and other vitamin C derivatives.”
This moisturizer brightens and hydrates the skin, and protects against pollution, lines and wrinkles, among other things. It smells subtly of oranges and is said to be fast absorbing. It really sounds like such a good moisturizer and I hope I like it!
Retail Value: $13.60 for 8 g (full size is $85 for 50 g)
Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream
I have got this product in a couple of Favourites set before but the size of this one is about double the size of the sample they normally include! This is the only Drunk Elephant product I’ve tried so far and it’s really good! I just tried it the other night, actually.
What I like most about it is how it moisturized my skin so well but didn’t feel heavy or look greasy whatsoever. I’ve used it as my nighttime moisturizer and even used it for day time under makeup and it worked perfectly.
It contains a blend of 6 African oils which are marula, baobab, kalahari melon, ximenia and passion fruit. These help deliver intense hydration while brightening and rejuvenating the skin.
Retail Value: $22.50 for 15 ml (full size is $75 for 50 ml)
Ole Henriksen Truth Serum
This is a product that is commonly found in these Favourites sets. I have had countless deluxe sample sizes of this but for that, I am glad because I love it! I have noticed that they used to include a 15 ml bottle but lately we have been getting 7 ml samples.
The reason I like this serum is because it helps brighten up my skin and reduce my redness, while also smelling absolutely deliciously of oranges! It’s also super fast absorbing and layers well with my other skincare. I feel like it also adds some hydration to my skin.
It contains Vitamin C which is a great anti-aging ingredient because of it’s antioxidant properties, as well as collagen which improves the skins elasticity.
Retail Value: $14 for 7 ml (full size is $60 for 30 ml)
Tarte Maracuja C-Brighter Eye Treatment
As a lover of Tarte’s Maracuja Oil, I am so curious to try this maracuja infused eye cream! It contains light reflecting particles to offset the look of dark circles which makes it perfect for day time use. It’s also supposed to be hydrating, smoothing and anti-aging! Its consistency looks very rich!
I’ve noticed Sephora has started to include more eye creams in their sets lately which I love. It’s one of the most important steps in my skin care routine because of my fine lines and eye creams can be so expensive; it’s hard to buy them outright.
Retail Value: $12 for 2.5 g (full size is $48 for 10 g)
Boscia Porefecting White Charcoal Mattifying Treatment Primer
I admit that I don’t stray from my usual primer too often. I normally use Benefit’s The Porefessional because it smooths my pores so well which makes my makeup look way better. This Boscia primer is also a smoothing and pore perfecting primer so I have high hopes for how I’ll like it!
Because it is infused with white charcoal, it is supposed to actually absorb your excess oil while wearing it. This sounds amazing for me as someone with oily skin! I am super pumped to try this!
Retail Value: $12.50 for 10 ml (full size is $50 for 40 ml)
First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer
This is a full size product, you guys! My only thing with this is that I already own 2-3 mini sizes of this same product – and I have never used them. With that said, I have really wanted to try this for a long time!!
But if you know me, you know that I like to use up my products pretty much in order of when I get them. These have fallen so far behind because primers are something I just do not go through quickly at all. I feel like maybe I should start breaking my rule on products like this that I know I don’t get through as fast.
Because this is pretty much a moisturizer and primer in one, it saves you a step before makeup or you can use it for a smoothed and blurred look sans makeup!
Retail Value: $35 for 50 ml (full size)
Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intense Exfoliator
I have wanted to try something from Kate Somerville for a long time and I’m happy to get her popular ExfoliKate to try. It uses microbeads and fruit enzymes to exfoliate the skin and clean the pores. In addition, it contains honey, aloe vera and Vitamin E to smooth and soften the skin.
Through the seal, it kind of smells like pumpkin spice to me! Which makes sense since it contains pumpkin enzymes as well as cinnamon extracts! They sell this size on Sephora’s website.
Retail Value: $29 for 15 ml (full size is $102 for 60 ml)
AmorePacific The Essential Crème Fluid
This fluid is described as a lightweight formula that is fast penetrating and offers instant hydration while featuring the lasting benefits and nutrients of a rich cream. This sounds absolutely perfect for my skin because I need the hydration that a richer cream offers but my skin tends to break out from them. A fluid is much easier on my skin.
The full size is crazy expensive at $125 but keep in mind that is for 3 oz, which breaks it down to $41.67 per ounce. When looked at that way, it doesn’t seem as bad and is actually cheaper than Sunday Riley and Drunk Elephant.
The reason the price is so steep must be because each bottle contains 150 baby green tea leaves handpicked from AmorePacific’s green tea gardens. I did not make that up. XD
Retail Value: $6.94 for 5 ml (full size is $125 for 90 ml)
Fresh Umbrian Clay Purifying Mask
It’s nice to get a new Fresh product to try rather than the usual Rose Face Mask or Soy Face Cleanser included in these Favourites sets!
This clay mask can be used in 3 different ways – as a mask to instantly purify skin, as a daily deep cleanser, or as a spot treatment to minimize imperfections. As a mask, it reduces pores and mattifies skin without drying it. This sounds like it will be similar to GlamGlow’s SuperMud (but cheaper!).
I can always use a product like this in my stash. This is another good sized item because they actually sell this size on Sephora’s website.
Retail Value: $30 for 30 ml (full size is $75 for 100 ml)
Total Retail Value: $239.54
As you may remember, the estimated value from Sephora is $205. I calculated $35 over their estimate which makes the $69 I paid for this set even more worth it. I love the variety included and that I can try these high end brands for cheaper. Even the products that I have received before are favourites so that helps me out with not having to buy full sizes any time soon!
This order solidified by VIB Rouge status at Sephora. I mentioned in another post how I wasn’t proud of that because it means I spent way too much this year. But on the exciting side, it also means I now get free shipping on every order! No more having to add random things to my cart to meet the $50 shipping requirement!
Sephora Collection Pro Mini Flawless Airbrush #56.5
I also got this beautiful brush as a gift! I actually already own this brush in its full sized version but this one is perfect for travel! Plus, it’s just so nice to look at! The red handle and ferrule is just gorgeous! My favourite colour! ❤ I also think this is the best brush I’ve ever used for foundation application. Every other brush I have tried gives such a streaky finish so I’m glad to have a backup.
The best part about ordering online is the free samples! I was able to snag this 3-piece Ole Henriksen set for free using a code! I forget what it was now but the products included were Pore-Balance Facial Sauna Scrub (28 g), Face the Truth Gel Cleanser (30 ml), and the Sheer Transformation Perfecting Moisturizer (7 ml). That’s a nice assortment of products and good sizes too.
In addition to the awesome codes we can use, we also get our 3 free foil samples. I chose Bobbi Brown Under Eye Corrector in Peach and Bisque (but the Bisque side was missing lol), GlamGlow SuperMud Clearing Treatment and the Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara which comes in the cutest little tube!
Thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed my breakdown of this set. Sorry for the uninspired photos but when I took them, I didn’t have much time and I had to rush. I have some better ones coming for future blog posts.
I hope everyone’s week is going wonderful! Let me know if you’ve tried any of these products before and how you liked them. Or maybe there’s something here that you’ve been curious about or maybe even didn’t like! Let me know in the comments!
