Look what I got today! I am beyond excited. Normally, I try to write my unboxings in the order that I received the boxes. This month, I got LookFantastic, Ipsy and Topbox, and now my FabFitFun was the last box to come in. I used some serious self control and did not look at spoilers! Do you know how hard that was for me? The only items I knew about were the ones that were select or choice items. Normally I look up box spoilers because I cannot resist!
I’m so proud when I don’t look at spoilers. I said to myself, screw the other 3 boxes this month, I’m writing my FFF unboxing post first! They definitely have a reputation for amazing Spring boxes and this year, it’s no exception. The box itself reminds me of spring with the pastel purple and boho design. But what’s inside the box blew me away! Let’s dive in!

Gypsy 05 Roundie
This was a select choice for annual members! We could choose between 3 different patterns, which were all beautiful, but I opted for the blue tie dye! At first, I was wondering what in the world is a roundie?! Turns out there are many uses. You can use it as a beach blanket, you can bring it to the park for a picnic, you can fold it up and wrap it around you, you can use it as a bed cover, or you can even hang it on your wall as a tapestry! My first thought when I unfolded it was that it was way thinner than I expected. It reminds me of a sheet, to be honest. That said, I do love it and want to bring it to the beach with me!
Retail Value: $50 USD ($66.62 CAD)
RealHer Lip Kit
This was the only other select choice of the box. We could choose between Deep Red, Deep Nude, and Neutral Pink. I chose the deep nude set! It comes with a liquid lipstick, plumping lip gloss, and a lip liner. This brand includes inspirational quotes on their products. Mine read “I am awesome,” “I am perfect,” and “I love myself.” I think that is cute and reminds you to compliment yourself!!
I love that it includes the lip liner because that is one makeup item I don’t have enough choices of. It’s creamy and a nice nude colour. I’m just not sure how to sharpen it. Can I use a regular sharpener on plastic liners?! The liquid lipstick is much darker than I expected – but I swear, every lip colour shows up on my lips super dark, even the nudes! It’s sticky while it dries but it does dry down quickly. I also found it super easy to apply. It does not transfer at all!! Lastly, the lip gloss is a little harder to apply but obviously more comfortable on the lips. It’s a tad pinker than the lipstick. Personally, I don’t notice any plumping effect!
Retail Value: $48 USD ($63.96 CAD)
Emerald Duv “Joshua Tree” Cage Bracelet
FabFitFun introduced a new feature for their annual members. It’s called “choice” and we get to choose between two products but no pictures are provided. So, it’s still a surprise but you get to customize your box a little. This box, we got to choose between a bracelet and earring set. Even though I have 2 holes in each ear, I haven’t worn earrings since my son was a baby and loved to grab at them! Bracelets on the other hand are my favourite type of jewellery.
This piece is right up my alley. I love cage bracelets and I don’t already own a similar piece. It’s gold, hand crafted, and simplistic yet unique in design. I like that I could wear it alone or with other stackable bracelets. I couldn’t personally ever spend $100+ on jewellery. This is not even made with real gold, I don’t think? The price is ridiculous but it’s why I get boxes like these – to get expensive items for waaaaay cheaper, ha!
Retail Value: $80 USD ($106.60 CAD)
Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray
I was so excited to pull this out of the box! I’ve loved everything I’ve tried from Briogeo and I love products like this. It’s so practical. I always use this type of product after washing my hair. It has rosehip, argan and coconut oils, and Vitamin E. It combats dryness, restores shine, protects against heat, and strengthens hair. It smells great and it’s a full size bottle!
Retail Value: $20 USD ($26.64 CAD)
Milly Zip Pouch
We could receive one of 4 choices. I didn’t get to pick but I got the one that says “Beach Please.” You could also get “Resting Beach Face,” “Haute Mess,” and “Slay All Day.” FabFitFun loves the cheesy puns, and so do I! This is one of those items that I wouldn’t think to buy for myself but it comes in super handy! It’s quite big and it’s waterproof so you can use it for your wet swimsuit or beach items. It’s also perfect for your liquid toiletries when you’re travelling. I love it (but who would pay $60 for this?!).
Retail Value: $45 USD ($59.94 CAD)
Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish Set
This is a cute little nail polish set in the shades “Shape of My Heart,” and “Like a Virgin.” You could have also received the “Blue Orchid”/”Like a Virgin” combo. These polishes are 7-free, which I like. I’m not really sure these are my colours so I’ll probably gift this set.
Retail Value: $19 USD ($25.31 CAD)
Karuna Hydrating+ Face Mask
How did they know I love face masks? 🙂 I didn’t read the box when I opened this so I was surprised when there was 4 packs inside! That made me happy! They are for dry, dehydrated skin. I have that annoying combo skin where I have an oily T-zone and I’m acne prone, but I also get really dry tight skin, as well. So I love hydrating masks! This one claims to improve hydration by 40%, promotes elasticity, and replenishes the skin’s moisture barrier.
Retail Value: $28 USD ($37.30 CAD)
Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Age Defying Exfoliator
I was so hyped when I saw this in the box! I love exfoliating products in general because they make such a positive difference in my skin. But I was so surprised to receive Dr. Brandt! It’s such an expensive brand so it made my day. I’ve used the Dr. Brandt PoreDermabrasion Pore Perfecting Exfoliator and I loved it but it’s way too expensive to buy on my own! 😛 This particular one is an age defying product so it claims to renew skin radiance, polish and smooth, and help diminish the look of fine lines.
Retail Value: $79 USD ($105.24 CAD)
Final Thoughts? Can we talk about that retail value for a second?! That’s insane. The value is always really good but this is the best one yet. My yearly subscription cost me $281.60 CAD, which works out to $70.40 a box. I mean, some of the prices of these items are totally ridiculous and I would never buy them full price but it’s why I love getting this box. It allows me to get these ridiculously priced items for a respectable price. I’ve honestly received so many things from this subscription that I use all the time.
This has to be one of my favourite FabFitFun boxes I’ve ever received, and this is my 7th box. I was the most excited to receive the Dr. Brandt and the Briogeo because I love those brands in general. I also love the roundie and zip pouch! They make me excited for beach days and trips in general! The cuff bracelet is my style and I try to use sheet masks once a week so those will get used up in no time. I’m just so pleased with this box!
One thing I love about FabFitFun is the add ons! Now, you have to be very careful because it’s easy to go overboard on them because the prices are so discounted! I’ve always been really good and have only purchased add ons twice, I believe. This month I decided to splurge a little since I’ve been so good on the past months. I’m rewarding myself! XD So here’s a look at what I got!
Head, Shoulders, Bums, and Toes Bundle
I knew from an e-mail that the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream was going to be an add-on. I’ve been dying to try it! I saw the email that add-ons were live an hour after it was sent. I raced to the FFF website and could not believe it was sold out already! I had a feeling that would happen but I didn’t know it would sell out in an hour! It was $23 USD ($30.63 CAD) for a product that normally costs $57 CAD on Sephora. Yes, this is the 240 ml container, not the little one!! Luckily, I saw that there was this bundle for only $6 USD more. I thought it was totally worth it. I ended up paying $38.63 CAD for these 3 products!
The bundle also included this dpHue Renew Masque Therapy ($34.63 CAD) and the Spongellé Pedi-Buffer ($21.31 CAD). I’m always looking for more hair masks and this foot buffer looks awesome. So all combined, this bundle was worth $112.94 CAD!!
These were 3 individual products I decided to pick up. They were all so inexpensive that I just couldn’t resist. I got this Spongellé Body Wash Infused Buffer in the scent “Freesia Pear” because I loved the one I got in a past box. It cost me $9.32 CAD. I also picked up another pack of these BodiPure Keratin Gloves & Socks for $6.66 CAD. These are another item I got in a past box, and I’ve even bought them as an add on before. They are so good! I also saw these BodiPure HandPure Anti-Aging + Moisturizing Hand Masks in a 3-pack for $6.66 CAD. Since I loved the keratin ones so much, I decided to try these ones too!
I am pretty much as excited about my add-ons as I am my spring box! If you made it this far in my post, I wish I could give you a hug! I know I get rambling sometimes and I appreciate it that you even want to read my thoughts! Much love to you all! I also hope you loved your spring box as much as I did!!
